I still remember when I chose the story of Momo from the library in my town., It seemed like the best choice of all.. Despite being too young to understand in a more elaborate way all the concepts it dealt with, Well, it would have approximately 11 years (In my time at that age the normal thing was to be trying to catch a stray cat to subject it to experiments), I have good memories of Momo's book and after recently rereading it I have decided to launch this entry on the blog.
Despite being written in 1973, A good time traveler must appreciate some details of this work that deals with how time is used by humans in modern societies.. Momo is a novel written by Michael Ende, the same one from The Neverending Story.
The main idea of Momo is to see how people's hidden interests influence people and criticizes the rational model of conceiving time. (From the perspective of 1973, Of course), an economic model that distorts moments and experiences that have no material value and that are, in essence, those who give value to life.
I had to write this post sooner or later., Do not you think? And the existence of time travel always causes a dilemma.
First of all, When we talk about time travel we have to define which aspects are real and which are not.. On the one hand we have the theories and scientific demonstrations that are impeccable., That is to say, the scientific results are there whether you want to believe it or not.. And on the other hand we have all the science fiction that has been based on partial or even invented theories..
